This automated test system performs the test protocol defined by the Ministerial Order dated 30/12/86 (BOE nº 10, 12/10/87) from MOPT for the conformance certification of satellite TV terrestrial receiver stations. It includes test for LNB,s, internal demodulator and modulator units.

Iberlab UX is the software platform used as the test engine core application.

The instrumentation used within system includes two vector network analyzers (MW & RF), a spectrum analyzer, a modulation analyzer, an audio generator/analyzer, a switching unit, a video analyzer, a video demodulator, a TV satellite signal simulator and a DC linear power supply.

This system has been provided to the Certification Laboratories of  Generalitat de Cataluña (LGAI) and the Secretaria de Telecomunicaciones (Science & Technology Spanish Ministry).
