ATLANTIDA aims to investigate the elements required for the improvement of the air traffic management (ATM).
Starting with this project, coordinated by Boeing Research & Technology Europe, new technologies will be developed enabling the automation of the air traffic management processes to make it more efficient.
In ATLANTIDA Integrasys develops the system wide information system (SWIM) for the integration of the ground and on-board platforms, including safety-critical systems as METEO, SUR, NAV and FM.
For this purpose, Integrasys will develop Midleware in the ground segment and in the airborne that will include the following safety critical features:
- Hard real-time operating system (RTOS) compliance with the specification ARINC-653 (time and space partitioning) and POSIX conformance.
- RTCA/DO-178B certificable “Software Considerations in Airborne Systems and Equipment Certification).
