With Iberlab/UX it is possible to design and build automated test systems in a fast, easy and cost efficient way, through a new generation architecture based on two main components:

• Iberlab/UX Developer's Toolkit . It is a graphic and object oriented development environment that eases the generation of the automated test repertories to be loaded into Iberlab/UX Run Time.
   
• Iberlab/UX RunTime: It is the test execution environment. It is composed by a set of off the shelf components ready to be used: sophisticated test sequencer, report generator, tests and report data bases and an auditing system.

This two major open components make Iberlab/UX Environment a highly powerful and flexible software framework for user system development and maintenance activities.

IBERLAB/UX RUN TIME

Iberlab/UX Run Time provides a modular architecture based on a set of off the shelf application oriented towards the specific needs of Automated Test Systems in the Type Approval Area.

It has been built under the Unix Operating System, therefore, assuring high performance and availability in the engineering field. All the application interfaces are graphic and Motif compliant.

Some of these Iberlab/UX components are:

• Dossier handling module. The dossier is the administrative unit for handling all the test sequences of a particular user
 
• Test sequencer. It is a general purpose test engine used to execute the test repertories developed with Iberlab/UX Developer's Toolkit
 
• Data Storage module, for both, test results and administrative data. These data are stored in an internal and relational data base using a commercial Data Base Management System
 
• Automated final report generator for numerical and graphical test results, including all the relevant administration data. The report format is Microsoft text processors compatible.
