CASE Tool for test code generation
This tool is the key component of the
Iberlab UX architecture
. It is a last generation development environment,
graphic and object oriented and with networked distributed operation capabilities.
Through this application the test repertories are easily defined and automatically
generated.
Iberlab/UX Developer's Toolkit offers the user its internal object
orientation and component reuse technologies easily, graphically and directly:
The test development can be done using drag and drop operations over off
the shelf objects. Also, due to the generic driver concept, these designs
can be done independently from the specific instrument equipment that will
be used in the final test system. This approach means a high isolation
capability from both, the particular details of a specific instrument,
and also, from the instrumentation vendors. It is possible to change
an instrument by another of the same class
directly, without code re-writting.
Handling objects graphically also allows a significant reduction of the
basic software skills needed for building a complex automated test system.
It provides engineers focus on the development of pure test and measurement
activities instead of basic software. Consequently a better resource utilization
is achieved and a lower specialization degree of the development and maintenance
personel is needed.
Iberlab/UX Developer's Toolkit reduces the costs of development and
maintenance activities of automated test systems and the time into market
of the final product. The quality of the application generated is increased
by re-using well defined and tested objects and, together with its open
and vendor independent nature, it constitutes an extremely valuable tool
for automated test system developers.
